Especially if you play Enhancement, using the right WoW shaman macros to create a high damage burst in arena or in raids, is vital for this class. Therefore, here’s a macro that I’m sure it will help out:

Of course, you can add more to this addon. For example, if you’re also an engineer, you can use the cooldown on your gloves. Also, if you play Horde and your shaman is an orc, you should insert Blood Fury in this macro, and as a troll you should insert Berserking.

A nice defensive macro for shaman-dwarves is:

/cast Shamanistic Rage
/cast Stoneform

Since Enchancement shamans don’t have too much trouble with their mana, Shamanistic Rage has become pretty much a defensive CD. Combined with the dwarf Stoneform, and the PvP trinket that boosts your HP, this macro will pretty much allow you to survive a heavy damage boost, in case you’re the main target of the opposite team, in arena.

Anyway, it’s a good idea to ration your defensive CDs with any class. A shaman macro like this should be used only in case of extreme emergency.

If you play a druid, I hope you’re using at least a few WoW druid macros, because this class is quite difficult to play, especially as feral. Well, not difficult to just play, but difficult to play at maximum effectiveness.

So, to help you improve a little bit, here are a few useful WoW druid macros that I’m sure you’ll like.

First of first, here are two WoW druid macros that will allow you to use your abilities that require stealth more effectively. These feral DPS macros work nicely for both PvP and PvE.

/cast [nostealth] Prowl
/swapactionbar 1 2

/cast [stealth] Ravage
/swapactionbar 2 1

Now, using the first macro, as you use your stealth, your quick bar will change on the second one, where you should have your abilities that require stealth. Once you hit the target with the Ravage macro, your quickbar will change once more on the first one. These WoW druid macros are necessary because, unlike rogues, druids don’t receive a stealth bar, you have to construct your own.

The Ravage ability can, of course, be replaced with Pounce, or you can (and you should) have a Ravage and Pounce macros on your stealth bar, to use depending on the combat situation.

The downside of the Pounce and Ravage macros is that they cannot be spammed. If you’re not in range to hit that particular target using the macro, the bar will change back to the first one after pressing it only one time. So make sure you use them when you’re sure you’re going to hit that target.

1. The first one I’m going to review is the one concerning the DOTs. No matter what spec you play, there are three damage-over-time spells that you must apply on your targets to be effective. These DOTs can be combined in the following macro:

/castsequence reset=4 Corruption, Bane of Agony, Immolate

This way, you will save two slots in your main bar. In case you don’t want to apply Immolate on the target, or there’s no time, just press the macro 2 times for the instant DOTs. Also, you can replace Bane of Agony with Bane of Doom, or any other Bane spell that you have.

2. Another one of the WoW warlock macros which is quite useful is a sequence for a quick Drain Life in PvP.

/castsequence reset=3 Soulburn, Drain Life

I usually use my Soulburn to make my main bolt instant, but in case you’re taking heavy fire, this WoW warlock macro may save your life.
