WoW Macros for RoguesLooking for useful WoW rogue macros? In that case, this post will surely help! No matter how long you’ve been playing your rogue and how good you think you are at playing this class, if you’re not using the Sap macro, you’re far from playing effectively. This macro is a must especially in arena, when in the opposite team happens to be another stealthed class (rogue or druid). Moving around spamming this macro:

/cleartarget
/targetenemy
/cast sap

…will allow you to sap first the enemy stealther and this way your team will have the upper hand. So, if you don’t have this Sap macro, write it now and bind it on your stealth bar.

Another of the WoW rogue macros which is a must, especially in PvE, is the Tricks of the Trade macro. Since rogues are pretty squishy and also fight in melee range, it’s easy to get killed quickly if the boss turns to them just for a second. Many rogues don’t even use this ability and that’s why they get aggro and get killed as soon as they hit one target.

This is the macro:

/cast [target=focus] Tricks of the Trade

Of course, you must keep the tank focused and make sure you will transfer your threat to them, instead of other player.

Also, in case a player in the group doesn’t deal too much damage, you can use this macro on them to help them out. Tricks of the Trade improves the targeted player’s damage by 15% for 6 seconds. However, make sure the DPS player you’re going to buff doesn’t deal an insane amount of damage, because they will mess up the tanks threat and get the whole group killed. As I said, use it on a player that has low DPS if not on the tank. The Tricks of the Trade macro can also be used in PvP to enhance one of your team mates damage burst.

I hope these WoW rogue macros are useful to you. Anyway, by using a WoW macros and keybindings addon, you will be able to load up the WoW rogue macros that only the elite players use.

WoW Mage Macros – Handy Macros for Mages

WoW Macros for MagesIf you’re reading this post, you probably play a mage and you want some improvement on your mage gameplay. Looking for WoW mage macros you’re certainly doing the right thing. Therefore, in this post you’ll find a few macros for mages that I’m sure you’ll find useful.

1. The following macro is an excellent macro for PvE damage burst:

/cast Arcane Power
/use 13
/use 14
/cast Mirror Image

As you can see, this macro involves the use of 2 DPS trinkets. Make sure you don’t use 2 trinkets that share the same cooldown. Also, if your mage is a troll, you can also add “/cast Berserking”.

In case you want to use this macro in PvP, remove the “/use” of your PvP trinket. It would really suck to waste this very important CD on a dps burst.

2. Another one of the WoW mage macros that I usually use when I grind for Frostweave or Embersilk Cloth is the following sequence:

/castsequence reset=10 Frost Nova, Ice Barrier, Icy Veins, Blizzard, Blink, Cone of Cold

Mobs rarely catch me and everything is reduced to the push of a button.

I hope these WoW mage macros are useful to you. Anyway, if you want to use the exact macros for mages for PvP and PvE that the elite players use, I strongly recommend a macros and keybindings addon.

Also, here are a couple of other useful WoW macros.

WoW Macros for HuntersDo you play a hunter? In that case, you should know that there are quite a few WoW hunter macros that will improve your gameplay by a lot. Regardless if you use them all, just a few or none, I’m going to mention here a few useful macros for hunters that I’m sure you will find very handy.

1. To begin with, here’s a very nice macro that any hunter should use as an opener.

/cast Hunter’s Mark
/cast Auto Attack
/petattack

You can, of course add a trinket or item use to it, to also obtain a little damage burst as you start shooting. This is the macro I usually bind on my tilde key, in the close reach of my pinky.

2. Another one of the useful WoW hunter macros that is crucial to use in instances and raids, especially if you deal an insane amount of DPS, is the “misdirection” macro. This macro will surely prevent you from getting aggro from the tank.

This is the macro:

/cast [target=focus] Misdirection

Of course, you will have to keep the tank under your focus for this. So, whenever you start DPS, or a mob comes to your direction, hit this macro.

In case you’re not in a group, you can focus your pet and this way redirect aggro on your pet.

I hope these WoW hunter macros are useful to you. In the following posts I will add more info on macros for hunters and other classes.

Also, I want to mention here that you can use all the macros and keybindings of the pros, regardless of class, by using a super keybinding and macro tool. This way, with a click of a button, you will load up and be able to use, the exact macros and keybindings for hunters which many elite players use.
