WoW Keybinding Guide – Keybinding Instructions For a Pala-Tank
I don’t know what you think, but I do think that the WoW paladin is the best class for a tank. They can use shields, they have nice healing spells, and can also deal nice AoE threat. Anyway, if you want to start your journey as a paladin-tank, you should read this short WoW keybinding guide.
Without wasting too much of your time, I’m going to start this short WoW keybinding guide for paladin tanks by telling you what are your most used, threat-generating abilities. These are:
- Hammer of the Righteous
- Judgement
- Crusader Strike
- Holy Wrath
- Consecration
- Avenger’s Shield
Now, the next step of this short WoW keybinding guide is to tell you where to fit them, to be able to use them with ease.
Key 1: Hammer of the Righteous – it’s an AoE spell, with 3 seconds cooldown, which also generates 1 Holy Power. Needless to say, this should be your main combat style.
Key 2: Judgement – the second ability I’m going to speak in this short WoW keybinding guide, although it’s a single target strike, using this combat style is a must.
Key 3: Avenger’s Shield – this is a spell that hits 3 targets. Even if it has 15 seconds cooldown, you must put it in your main bar because as you deal damage with Hammer of the Righteous or Crusader Strike, its CD has a 20% chances to be refreshed, due to the Grand Crusader talent.
Key Q: Consecration – I put this ability here because, although it’s a main tanking spell, it has a long CD.
Key E: Holy Wrath – another ability with long CD.
Note: You can place this abilities in your main bar if you want, but I like to keep Shield of the Righteous on 5 and Word of Glory on 6, as Holy Power damp spells.
Key 4: Crusader Strike – in case you fight only 1 mob or you need to save mana, you should use this strike instead of Hammer of the Righteous.
Now, as a conclusions of this brief WoW keybinding guide, let’s see how your rotation should be:
Start with Avenger’s Shield (3), pop Consecration (Q), hit Holy Wrath (E), then use Hammer of the Righteous (1), Judgement (2), Avenger’s Shield once more (if it procced), then again, Hammer of the Righteous, until you have 3 charges of Holy Power, then damp your charges by using Word of Glory or Shield of the Righteous whatever it should be more useful. Rinse and repeat.
I hope this brief WoW keybinding guide for pala-tanks was helpful. At least, these keybindings work for me.
Anyway, if you want to work with the keybindings of the elite WoW players, complete WoW Keybinding Guide will surely help. Works for any class!
