A Handy Opener WoW Priest Macro
Do you play a shadow priest? Well, in case you’re planning specialize on damage, here’s a very useful WoW priest macro for opening a combat session.
It’s a sequence macro that combines several of your spells that must remain on the target at all time, if possible. So, without wasting too much of your time, this WoW priest macro looks something like this:
#show
/castsequence reset=4 Vampiric Touch, Shadow Word: Pain, Vampiric Embrace
Once the target has these effects on it, you can continue with your castable spells like Mind Blast, Mind Flay etc. If you want to start a combat session with more damage, you can add “/use 13″ or “/use 14″, or both, in case you have 2 trinkets that don’t share the same cooldown.
Also, if you want to use this WoW priest macro in PvP, you can make a little modification to it, in case you want to use it on a melee target that will attack you.
#show
/castsequence [nomod] reset=4 Vampiric Touch, Shadow Word: Pain, Vampiric Embrace
/castsequence [mod:shift] reset=4 Vampiric Touch, Shadow Word: Pain, Vampiric Embrace, Psychic Horror
The second sequence also has Psychic Horror added, so if you push this WoW priest macro while you also press shift, you’ll be able to fear your opponent on the 4th hit.
The shift sequence of this WoW priest macro is useful if you’re fighting a melee class. By the time they reach you, you had already cast the first 3 spells and it’s time to fear them.
Hope this WoW priest macro helps. Also, here’s another useful post on WoW Priest Macros. May your enemies taste your shadow, whether they’re players or NPC’s!
